The largest sensor is 108mp at 1/1.3" format iirc, 0.8 micron pixels, it actually does resolve that, it just has aggressive noise reduction. I have a 64mp phone with 0.8 micron pixels as well and am pretty shocked.

I shot a chart as well and it with the chart height around 985 pixels it hit 950 lines out of 985 theoretical maximum. Noise reduction is still a problem though, and of course it cant replace a camera, but its a good tool to have.

But yes, the Chinese are good at making many smartphone parts and the final assembly. I don't find this to be surprising, it was the case 10 years ago already.

Save us?! Duh, they're the ones making the best of these relatively low noise high color accuracy high resolution phone sensors. They win either way.

Their big camera sensors with big high-end lenses are still much better. It's a very clear difference.
