I'm assuming you want your photos to look like film but with the convenience of carrying around a digital camera. all that is going to happen taking scans of film pictures of print images is a degradation of the quality. it's not even optically the same so you can't even say that light was authentically captured through film.
I've read about wedding photographers using both a digital camera and a film camera to take pictures of a scene and then color matching the digital picture to the film one
