Of course I will be missing shots, but not the ones that work with 35mm for example, and that's that I'm going for. I'm not shooting insects or whole buildings anyway, but theoretically I am missing these shots. I don't want to take them in the first place. On the contrary: a limited focal range maximizes my yield for this specific focal range. And that's what I want.
It's a different outlook. There are people who want to capture as many "things" they can. I want to create an image that conveys an idea. And for that I can use any focal range I like.
