What's being reflected in the object, can you get a white are black sheet/s to cover that area?

What's your light source, can you move it? If so try, if not and masking is no option, move your subject.

There's a whole world of things you can do in post ofc, but the better you can get it off the sensor the more time you'll save, and lets be honest, the better it will look.

Get a CPL filter to reduce those glares and reflections. Because it cuts polarized light, you can also use it to avoid blowing out your skies when shooting on bright sunny days.

CPL filters are incredible and a must have, but the most important thing is just the light conditions. You don't wanna shoot a car in harsh sunlight, just like you wouldn't do portrait pictures in direct sunlight too (unless it's the look you are going for). Most paintjobs have largely different characteristics and require different settings
