>>3729926There are quite a few low and mid tier Minolta film cameras aside from the A7 that can use SSM lenses actually. Off the top of my head the Maxxum 70 and 50, and the Maxxum 5, 4 and 3 all work and probably a few others.
Not much point anyway, most of the good Sony lenses are screw drives and just clones of old Minoltas, which will work perfectly with the A9.
This is only really relevant if you are a Sony Digital A mount user with a lot of glass and want a film body to put them on, in which case the A9 is no good and it's highly unlikely you'll even find one with a SSM upgrade.
