I dropped my XT- 20 in the park and the digitizer cracked. Does anyone know how to go about repairing this? I tried searching on google, but it seems more related to the xt-2. I found the parts on eBay, but Im a little hesitant taking it apart, should I send it to a repair center or would it not be worth it?

Just doesn't cut it these days. My suggestion is to buy the new Fujifilm X-T4 with IBIS, 4k10bit internal recording and the eterna film simulation. Now 10% off at BHphoto

wdym digitizer? the screen? yeah you can probably just part swap it or sell it for parts. i don't think it's worth sending in, they'll charge some large percentage of the camera's entire value

Theoretically it should be an easy fix but much like lenses, repairs are the real moneymaker companies make profit on after selling a camera.

I'm sure the screen can be replaced. for how much tho is another story. you're probably looking at around 300 - 400$ in repairs. unless you're savy and lucky enough to find a broken X-T20 with the screen still functional and do a replacement. might want to also find out if other screens are compatible to increase your chances.

Yeah, I'm thinking I should wait for a price drop on the xt-4. But the xt-3 looks nice.

As a recent Fuji convert via X-T3, it makes a lot of sense. The X-T4 is mostly the same camera with the addition of two clamored for features (IBIS, bigger battery), but the X-T3 remains a very good crop format camera. I was compelled to buy into the system at the sale price. I have no regrets, but I now have Fuji glass. Those smart motherfuckers...

I’ve replaced it in my phone. You mean the part that recognised touch yeah? In some cases you can take a piezo electric push button lighter and take out the piezo electric part and spark the screen back to life. Not if the lcd picture is fucked it though.
