I've always had a interest on photography but different circumstances have led me away from it. I bought a rebel t2i 10 years ago and for a while started taking pictures but I had to focus on college and then work came and eventually I got married so I dropped the activity.

I recently divorced and have a work that leaves me with a lot of free time, so I'd like to take up photography again to stop thinking about my divorce. I don't know where to start. Is the t2i good or should I buy a newer model? I am currently 30, am I too old to learn and git gut at it? Any advice on what to do and pointers on where and how to begin would be appreciated.
