Can anyone help identify the model? I am wondering if it would be a good buy. I'll post the "info sheet" the seller has.

Nikon FE. These are really cool they calculate the exact exposure, not just 1/125th or 1/250th it will do 1/377th if it thinks thats what it needs. They are great for shooting slide film.

Get the MD12 motor drive for it and get the seals replaced for it, you can do it yourself its super easy I've bought and sold so many of these I can do it from memory now.

If you have the Soligor C/D lens the C/D line was their premium optics line kind of like Canon L series.

It appears to have either the 50 1.8 Nikkor or a 35/2.8 or 35/2 Nikkor, all of which are excellent optics. Shoot some film with it and post the shots here

I just got an FE2 from some lady for $50 but the light seals need to be replaced. What kind of foam do you buy for this? I tried some 1.5mm foam off amazon but it was too thick and messed with the battery door closing. Also it was difficult since the foam kept sticking to the side of the groove instead of the base of the groove.

I replaced the light seals on my Canonet 28 using a 9x12-inch foam pad from an arts and crafts store (a store called Michael's in Canada). It's about 1mm thick and the film door on the Canonet bulged out slightly when closed but it provided a seal and the images that came out were fine. I'm not sure how it works on an FE but maybe you could thin out the foam you have now to get it to fit together.

Pro tip anon if the camera looks like night rider its from the 80s if it looks like a corrolla its from the 90s/2000, silver and black letheretts where the style back in 1960/70 anything that folds has a wierd shape or makes your radiation detector make that clicking sound is from 30s and down

This works, I use the Nikon FE seal kit on eBay its like 10 bucks. Fits perfectly.

If you get a foam kit that doesn't fit right, put it in anyway if its a little too big, let the camera sit a few days the foam will compress and fit to the form of the door seal and you'll be kosher. I did this with my Minolta RF and my first FE
