Ef-m could literally be the most complete system if Canon wanted it to be. Instead they treated it like a step child and actively try killing it over and over. It's so weird.

If they had the same lens selection as available for the Fuji system combined with Canons AF and getting rid of bs like the tiny battery and crop of the M50 it would be the only system anyone would ever need.
Instead they never fixed a single flaw nor did they release a lens.

If the M50 Mk II is mostly just firmware upgrade of the Mk I, same sensor, image processor and buffer.
Is it even called a proper upgrade? Will this be a new fad, selling you the same product but just with a firmware upgrade?
Then your current model won't have firmware upgrade support? And if you want a firmware upgrade for your current model, they might produce a scheme that you have to pay for it?

i have the rp and it is great. it is my first mkrrorless, so i can't compare with other models. RF lenses are great, it works with old glass, the battery life is not as bad as people say and the fhd video looks better than what comes of our professional canon video camera.
