The first digital camera I used regularly was a 1D.
My thought at the time was "big fucking thing, seems to take a decent pic though."
Borrowed it off a guy with a photography company in Queenstown NZ - figured he was just lending me the cheap shit ha ha had no idea.
He was probably sending me out with NZ$20K of gear - I used to put them in a dry bag, jam it behind the seat of my kayak and hit grade 5 - bloody lucky I never swam lost a boat while I had that in the back.
