I'm still not a fan of EVF, but times have changed . EVF will get better, battery life will get better. At the end of the day, sensor tech in mirrorless and D-SLRs have been up to this point identical, which means identical photos, which means D-SLRs don't take any better (or worse) pictures.
To me, it's just, whatever. When my D-SLR breaks down many years and shutter actuations from now, I'll upgrade to whatever is exciting and fits me at that time. But I have no need to upgrade now, you probably don't either, and most people who say they do are kidding themselves and just want to buy things.
