There’s a certain amount of irony that comes from the media’s distaste at being photographed up close that I love. I’m considering getting a remote trigger for my Godox so I can Bruce Gilden the fuckers next time I see them.

The problem with shooting things like protests is that too many people are influenced by their political beliefs so they will either shit up threads with their bias or just meme until it eventually dies. There’s some good discussion going on in here but considering some of the threads I’ve seen in the past similar to this that’s how it is usually goes. In an effort to get the best criticism I’ll dump content pertaining to certain parties on separate sites that favor one more heavily than the other (unless the image looks politically neutral).

There is no rule that says you have to shoot at 40 or below for street, but yeah if you shoot with a telephoto lens you're a pervert.

You need to create a scene with the whole frame, shallow depth of field is pedestrian shit.

When you master street, you can do any type of photography.
