It looks like you exposed for the sky, completely negating the point of the filter. The sky is under exposed and the foreground is super underexposed. Your whole exposure could've been increased by at least a stop.

Also, for placing the filter it helps to stop your lens down and use the DoF preview to make seeing the gradient of the filter easier for the VF.

Rollei 35 + Rollei 2.8 is the chad combo. You're so close.

Get a couple of those Schneider bayonet mount teleconverters for the 2.8 and you've got wide, normal, tele and the fact that they're front mounted means you don't have to give up a stop.
