The menu is in no way a hindrance, even excluding the fact that you're not usually spending about 50% of the time you use the camera in the menu as everyone here makes it sound all the time.

I dont know if you're going to buy new or used, but if you buy new, consider getting an older, higher-tier DSLR instead. I bought the a6300 new because I didnt trust used camera gear, but that's my only regret about that camera, I should have bought it used for cheaper or spent the same money on an older fullf-frame instead.
