>>3760313>>Canon 5Dnot my camera, not my photo
All the lenses I have are pentax, so thats ll i shoot.
Anyhting else is ludicrously expensive anyway.
>135all you guys shoot wide as fuck anyway :) so im sure you'll notice even a 1mm 35mm-equiv difference... of course it'll still mean nothing to people who like zoom lenses.
>teleconvertersare evil
disregard teleconverters, aquire two useful zooms. Put them on two useful bodies, and disregard subsequent gearfaggotry until something dies or breaks.
ie: my oldest K5 is on a microscope.. or 1000mm and almost never gets used.
The newer k5 is on a tamrom 17-50mm/2.8
The K3 is on a sigma 70-200mm/2.8 'macro' (800mm minimum focus - so great for close portrait)
>paparazzi workzero professional photography in my life, all just amateur
I actively reject job offers, 100% of my photos are my legal property, even stuff i shoot at peoples parties etc. Socially they can ask me to remove something, but legally I have ultimate control.
Also, fuck the client - creative relationship...thats the worst kind of contractual binding.
>pyramidal detail-based contrastjust buzzword i pulled out of my ass. iirc rawtherapee or darktable (which i use now) has it. It's basically just detail based contrast. So it doesnt necessarily alter the whole image, just the detail.
> 80-210mmGuy i regualrly shoot with is selling one of these for me on ebay.... not sure if it's listed right now. Really nice lens iirc, if you like construction-mass and old glass. Zoom creeps somehting chronic if you point it up/down een slighty. But described as 'best ever' on the pentax forums.
Nobody wants them right now though so it hasnt sold yet afaik. I'll post the link when/if he gets back to me on the listing status. (i dont know the url)
>"button" mirror shieldis just aluminium applied direcly onto the front element... cant een lose columnation becaseu stupid owner disassembled the front mirror or dropped it etc... seems like a great idea really.
