is photoshop CPU/GPU intensive?, if it depends, is it okay with my specs to edit minimal on raw files?

Don't use anything past CC 2017 and ACR 11.0, anything beyond hogs CPU and GPU to high heavens for no obvious reason.
t. thoroughly tested everything from CS2 to latest CC, and every ACR from 8.0 to 13.0 over the years

I work doing photo retouch for clothing and shoe catalogs, don't know what kind of work you do anon, but I've totally ditched adobe like 18 months ago and I'm doing fine.

Affinity Photo & Clip Studio Paint || Photoshop
Affinity Designer || Illustraton
Affinity Publisher || InDesign
Capture One || Lightroom
DaVinci Resolve || Premiere
Blender and Visual Studio Code for everything else.

I cant only recommend Adobe if you have to work with other people, but if you control the files from start to finish, then theres almost no need for Adobe products in my opinion.

It's easier to change exif data of raw file to say it's from older camera. Photoshop will then open it just fine.

I cant remember but does cs6 have the updated liquify panel where you hve sliders to change the face shape, eye size etc?

That is pretty useful for when people half blink or squint when you are taking there photo, you can fix it with one slider.
