>>3763424It's hilarious to watch these idiots pretend that having to cock the shutter is akin to driving a manual car or something like that in terms of engagement. Having control is what it's about, and having to cock the shutter doesn't really add any to it. It's not like the difference between a basic P&S with no manual focus or exposure adjustments other than ISO where jumping to an advanced camera adds a lot of new stuff to play with. It's just a silly gimmick.
I'm also sick of the CCD shilling. It's shitty camcorder tech with no benefits. The alleged color reproduction advantage is negated by just looking at a 5D Classic picture. And on the newer cameras, it's a matter of how you shoot and how you edit.
That said I'd rather take a R-D1 than a X100.
