There will never be anything interesting initiated by someone who can't think of anything better than a retarded frog drawing to go with it.
There are of course people who try to disguise gear threads with a picture of something else. These are often "what camera shall I buy?" threads. Hide them. Also give short shrift to threads that rapidly dissolve in to pointless bickering about art.
Once you get into the swing you will find many more threads you can hide. I always hide Instagram and pet threads as well as "is this a good picture?" and "is it okay to fuck your model?" type threads. Your mileage will vary but I can reduce the board by about 2/3rds leaving only the vaguely interesting threads. It takes about ten minutes to scan the board every morning for new stuff to either read or hide. Then I have the rest of the day for being constructive without gnashing my teeth because some twat criticised my camera brand.
