>>3774360>>3774362I used the 35mm 1.4 for most of my shots. I had the 50-140 2.8, great lens but the 90mm F2 is the real gem of the X mount system, so I sold the zoom. That was my 70-200 equivalent but as I found out only indecisive people use zooms and I only really used it at the 90mm mark. 85mm (FF) is a meme focal length compared to the traditional portrait length of 135mm, which the Fuji 90 F2 provides. I also had the 14mm for very large group shots and grand scenes of the venues, and the 27mm as a backup general purpose. I never found a place for the 23mm 1.4 but I did toy with getting an X100F for HSS antics.
>>3774362I bet you have never shot a wedding in your life, and you get all your information from generic YouTube photographers whose photos all look the same. Try working differently from other people for a change, it gets you noticed.
I should also note my work was featured by Condé Nast in Vogue and Brides. That was at the tail end of my run however, and I am too busy with my career to pay attention to any side gigs right now, especially with covid around. Still, it bought me some nice glass to play with.
