>>3774699>ISO200 3.2secBefore someone points out this weird choice, I was trying out a new camera in the dark and couldn't figure it out in the time I had. (And the patience I didn't have.)
I've got to say it's a hell of a good wee camera.
There's also Fuji, Sony, Canon, any number of other options, but after trying a couple, this is what I found best for ME in a compact.
It's also got a couple of cool wee functions for family photos like 4K burst which lets you take a short vid then select the frame/s you want - good for getting the shot where your kid lands in the water for example - and post-focus, which does the same type of burst shot, but while changing focus.
Then you just tap on the screen where you want the focus to be AFTER you've taken the shot. Bloody handy when you're trying to wrangle one child while getting a shot of another.
These are just a couple of parent-friendly things I discovered after I'd bought it.
Here's an out-of-camera RAW converted to JPG without edit so you can see it at ISO1600.
I probably wouldn't go higher than that for noise, but it's perfectly useable at 1600, and you could probably go to 3200 without too much drama and a bit of post. These were all just taken to see how she'd go in low light.
