theres a consumer camera that does that, the lomography sprocket rocket is made specifically for exposing sprocket holes but its wayyy overpriced for what it is.

theres barely any surface area on the spool ends, and its metal against metal so its pretty slippery.
also no i shot this on ilford delta 3200 @1000 iso, developed in DF96 monobath chemicals because im lazy

How many exposures do you get from a 36 roll? How do you line the frames?

you get about half the frames, give or take 2 exposures, and you really just gotta guesstimate the frame
my camera has a little mask that slides over the viewfinder to show a 4x4 frame instead, i used that to assist me in getting the horizontal alignment right

really, just go and do it, its not a super legit technique, its just a neat experiment

I mean the frame as in the exposed part so that you don't expose the same part of the film twice. It's my understanding that medium format cameras rely on stuff printed on the 120 film to line the frames, I may be wrong.

Did you use a higher ASA film for this? It's a crop so you have to turn up the sensitivity. Learned about this in a crop vs FF thread.
