It's your first camera, more important than anything is versatility, you don't know what focal length you're going to click with, so choosing a camera with a fixed lens is dumb. Sony has the most affordable lenses, the best quality lenses, the most affordable bodies and the most niche focused high end bodies, the most affordable and largest variety of accessories like flashes, cages, gimbles, etc. They have the best autofocus and best sensors (Sony make the sensors for everyone but canon, and they keep the latest tech for at least 2 years before offering those chips to 3rd parties).
>But why not a Fuji ilcBecause they have other limitations, like much more expensive lenses, no full frame upgrade path, railroads you into using non industry standard software due to their dodgy raw files.
The only reason any "professionals" use Fuji is due to photojournalist competitions limiting entries to straight out of camera shots (no editing in lightroom allowed at all), but Fuji offers a load of memey Instagram style filters, so photojournalists can fuck around with their images before submitting them.
