It's not about the camera, it's about the kino. Any prosumer DSL will do. You can get EOS rebel T3is for really cheap on ebay. They will have all the features you need. Alternatively if you don't care about learning actual photography techniques you can unironically use a phone like >>3779671 suggests, but you will need to learn kinography eventually

Determine what you want to do first and then find the best most affordable camera that will allow you to do that. If you just want to mess about and experiment, get a cheap DSLR or a phone as others have suggested.

You can buy a used DSLR and a used 24mm, 50mm, and a 24-105mm real cheap. That’ll give you all the creative range you need for a low budget production.

Or use the phone you just used to post your question, OP.

Honestly it sounds like complete garbage but I get a nice vision imagining sunlight through pine trees listening to this song.

Video fag here don't buy Blackmagic unless you are willing to spend several thousand dollars more on accessories and upgrade your pc.
Blackmagic cameras com with no lenses so that alone will cost you a couple thousand.. Then you need external batteries/power source and an SSD fast enough for it, that's not that expensive maybe a couple hundred

Then you need a beefy pc, even beefier than what you need for your incel vidya shit, a Blackmagic raw file will be about 2gb per minute of recording depending on the compression so you need quite a lot of storage and a good processor and videocard (s) to handle all the editing. I don't know how good your pc currently is but let's say a couple thousand more.
Minor accessories like a proper gimbal, cave and tripod/s a couple thousand more, then all the audio shit maybe a thousand+ too.
So about 10 or 15k is would be enough, the RED alternative would cost 50k+
If you just want to fool around just rent the equipment or buy a dslr

It's unironically a solid cine cam with 4k downsampled from 6k, little rolling shutter and solid audio. Better than any memefourthirds but Fuji keep quiet about it. X-H1 is a good shout too.

there are plenty of good quality videos on places like youtube that are shot entirely on a phone. Sometimes they put the phone in a gimbal but it almost seems like youd be better off using a nice phone camera + phone gimbal instead of a dedicated camera.

I dont shoot videos so it's hard for me to give a solid opinion on the matter. I think a (good) phone with gimbal would be better at the beginning. The advantage of a dedicated video rig is that you can expand it as you need, also for longer shooting you can have batteries and extra storage which is not as simple on a phone.

How little have you researched before you decided to ask about a fucking BMPCC?
If 1080p is good enough then T2i will do the job just fine. You can have a near mint one for about 130 bucks. Then you buy any lens you want and install MagicLantern on it. That's the cheapest that kino can get.

I’d say a second hand APSC mirrorless body tattoo has good video. And a light 35 mm 1.8. It’ll fit on a small light weight gimbal then and it’ll do quite well. You just have to think about focus.
