You don't need an Instagram account to pursue your photography, and the like game is actively detrimental to true development of your photographic skills, because what gets likes is not what makes a good, worthy photograph.
Also, Zuckerberg is probably evil and social media is a cancer designed to collect your user data and sell you things through targeted ads. They just want to collect your data and keep a portfolio
