I thought about war photography a lot when I was working in a press agency a few years back. Looked up the requirements, trainings and gear you need to go shoot in war zones.
Then one day this photographer emtered the office and the whole room went quiet ; dude was coming back from Syria and saw his friend co-worker get killed there. He had that fish-like dead eyes look.
I never thought about going to a war zone since.
