>>3790568>Btw any news about Olympus new camera?Basically a Pen-F Mk.II any possibly updates to the E-M5, Mk. IV?
If there's one thing said at least, 2020 was Olympus' year of bodies. 2021 is the year of lenses. With the sales of the 150-400mm starting in the spring and a 100mm macro lens also coming out, there's rumours about more f/1.2 primes, maybe the 75mm. Also rumours about another fast f/2.8 zoom lens.
There is an Olympus roadmap out there which they do say they want to fulfil, but given the E-M1 Mk. III, E-M1X, E-M10 Mk. IV and the Mk. III S, I would guess that Olympus has probably made the bodies they want to.
>>3790572>love the colors of the sky. Did you do some edits? or SOOC?Edits, but nothing special for colours - I just suppressed the fuck out of highlights and slightly turned up the vibrancy, though I wanted to make the red railings stand out more.
Nah, the colour of the sky is more influenced by the fact that the sun was really damn low. Pic rel.
>One thing I like about shooting MFT is I get good DOF even at fast apertures. This was more for the fact that I was focussing on an object that was probably at or beyond hyperfocal distance (which is 24 metres for the 25mm).
>vintage glass on mft using a viltrox speedboosterLimitation there is the fact that M-Mount is too small to acomodate a speed booster. I think M-Mount is accidentally a good mirrorless lens thanks to the fact that the flange distance is so close, coming from rangefinder cameras.
Also, the only lenses I would like a speedbooster for is for the C/Y lenses I have. The thing is... only Metabones made one afaik, and it's already discontinued. They cost about 10 times the price of the adapter I bought.
>For me mft cameras are the perfect travel or street camera.Yeah... I think I'd agree, but I like how they're really flexible in their overall useage, since you can attach a longer lens, and suddenly you have a compact telephoto that can shame bridge superzooms.
