honestly not half bad OP. A lot of these register as formalism-lite to me. You have a pretty decent eye for shapes and composition.
>>3791025Still think this one is best even though I agree with the other anon wishing for a wider crop. The rowing ones in general are among the strongest.
>>3791008This one is probably my other favorite. Love the colors and inviting glow of the orbs, plus the texture added by the rain.
>>3791005>>3791007Shots like these two are close but don't quite do it for me. The first one is certainly an interesting architectural feature, but I don't think your framing complements it. I'd almost want the shot to be head on and without any cars below it. I know that you can't just disappear the cars, but just thinking out loud I guess. That second one is a cool juxtaposition of the sea and grass against the form of that fence, but I almost have the same criticism -- wish it was taken from head on rather than from the side. I think it would make that cool geometry shine through a bit better. Sorry if that criticism doesn't make a ton of sense, I'm having a bit of trouble articulating it.
>>3791002Like the stark lighting/mood and overall framing of this one, just wish the subject had a little more of a focal point. Lacks intrigue.
>>3791013I think this one would be a bit better with more background separation. Like the warm lighting and composition though.
