As a photographer is it cringe to have a profile photo like this with your camera or to have an image like this on your website?

They just always look so cheesy to me with a photographer posing with his camera looking awkward in some overdone lighting setup.

what are /p's thoughts?
would you hire someone with a profile pic like this?
