When a camera's close to your face you must picture it being someone else's eye, people legitimately look weird and exactly like this up close, it's not an artifact or anything just a

Besides the actual distance between yourself, the mirror and yourself. Your camera phone is a tiny little thing projecting an image onto a tiny little sensor whereas your eyes are spaced apart and create a composite image of both sides of your face for your brain to figure out.
Try closing one eye, squinting with the other and looking in the mirror from 30cm away, you'll find that you look like a fuckwit.

afaik there are no phones with a good focal lenghts, neither in front nor back camera. That's because they give priority to including as many people and content possible in your epic selfies to post on insta (while instagram "models" use actual cameras to not look deformed)

Selfie cameras are almost always rectilinear so they don't have any fisheye distortion
Unless you mean perspective distortion like in OP's pic. In that case, the problem is the camera being too close. There's nothing the lens can do to help there.

Your seeing a flipped image in the mirror, when you see photos you seeing how you actually look from other peoples perspective. Don't worry, if you look good in the mirror you look fine in pictures. Your brain focuses on your asymmetry in pictures as that's not how it sees itself. Many actors actually have uneven eye levels and asymmetrical jaws if you pay attention.
