Oddly enough, Olympus has entered into a joint venture with Sony for medical imaging, as Olympus has huge amounts of market share in medical imaging, which Sony concluded that if you can't beat them, join them.
Now, if you want to buy an endoscopy trolley, one option is a trolley with Olympus endoscopic equipment, with a Sony medical grade Blu Ray recorder and a Sony medical grade printer.
If you want an Olympus microscope, then that's an alternative to Zeiss.

Then there's Leica, who are happy enough to sell a handful of cameras a month - their only customers are rich collectors.
It's a real shame, because I actually rather like the S5. I'd consider it if I had to make a jump over to FF.
Right now, I'd rather stick with Olympus, or OM-DIGITAL.
