I don't own a camera. Someone's going to give me one (gotta go and pick it tho) and I know it has a spot on the sensor. It's too expensive for me so I'll never open and check the sensor.

Before buying go to a camera shop and ask if they do sensor cleaning also how cheap is the camera that you are willing to overlook the dirty possibly damaged sensor

Now you reminded me of a tough decision I have, I dislike imperfection, but I have some good pictures with dirty sensor... I don't want to get rid of them but they have those small spots and the fate of those is always deletion... But they are so good... at least to me.

I started to clean my D5300's sensor and I always check the camera against a blue sky.
