I'm kind of new to photography I currently shoot on my Phone but I'm going to get a real camera eventually is the Canon EOS 5D Mark II worth it?

It's worth it but if you can save a bit for the Mark III it'll be even better. Peak DSLR.
Mark IV however is overpriced for the little extra things it offers.
If you're interested in shooting RAW video, Mark III will negate part of the price difference because it can take SD cards. A RAW-capable CF card for the Mark II is about $1/GB.
