I have to take ten photos for my class that’s due on Sunday. Could be non-directive, contemplative, or directive in nature. I took five so far that I like, and I was wondering if I can get some feedback on them.

Contemplative = stop and think around the environment

Non-directive = something like street photography or anything you run into. Like how I ran into this guy in the desert.

Directive = staged photo

Try not to just do macro shots of texture for "contemplative."

Some wildlife might be good for "non-directive," if you can get close to any. Do you have socialized geese?

I’ll keep that in mind. I live in the suburbs, so there really isn’t much variety in terms of wildlife. If want to go somewhere interesting, I have to drive out for it.

I find this quite tight in framing, needs more negative space on the right side of the sign, and also the rocks

Yeah i think here they are too noticable as 'electrical towers' instead of them working for the composition. Maybe it would be different if the guy was on the edge or in a corner of the foto.
I think just the guy fits the "contemplative" theme.
