What you guys don't understand is megapixels aren't the only thing that matters for quality.
This is definitely a buyer beware case but it's entirely possible these cheap cameras deliver. They might have poor color accuracy, tons of noise, imperfect focal planes, horrible low light performance, horrible shots/sec burst, bad point&shoot features, miss autofocus, fail to get color temp right, and have a laggy interface, maybe even apply shitty post-processing and not have RAW support.
It could still be 48MP though.
The question is what do they actually suck at? Does anyone know? There's tons of things they must suck at.
