Has anyone ever disassembled a Soviet MC lens before?

I bought this one just now with the knowledge that oil had leaked into the optics.

How fun is the disassembly/reassembly going to be?

The Vario Zenitar-K 25-45 mm f/2.8-3.5 MC is a zoom, so good luck. I wouldn't do it. Primes are way easier.

It's like disassembling any other pre-autofocus lens. Don't lose any screws and mark the position of all tubes against each other so you don't screw up the focus scale.

Also, "MC" isn't a lens maker. "Multicoated" just abbreviates into graphically identical letters in both English and Russian.
