>>3816876>Shit I feel you anon. This is exactly how I think about my work too.Idk, thing that depresses me as well is the upfront capital costs for telephoto that's not a portrait prime.
The concept of a £12k course and a maximum post-grad student loan of £5.5k just feels like a nail in the coffin though.
>Take your chances man and reach out to few people. It's generally speaking hard to make those sorts of long term contacts unless you really know someone who knows someone. Unfortunately... it's just the way cronyism works.
>I have found this article, you should try to approach these photographers What's funny is that the first guy was in Kyiv in 2014. I was also in Kyiv in 2014, but by that time most of the shit had already gone down. Maidan was still full of stuff tho. I only took pics with a a sort of crappy smartphone then, though. Not quite photojournalism.
>Eamonn DoyleThat name is pretty common, but probably not. I feel like the main issue with photographers is that they're far more anonymous compared to other kinds of people doing fine art, or people who do videography. Someone taking a camera to film something like a civil war seems far more unique than work that likely will only feature a Getty Images copyright.
>Do you have an Instagram? No. I have a 500px though, but it feels fairly meh. I got some pics approved for licencing on 500px, but none have sold to anyone.
