But it's best to try out beforehands anyway.
Imagine it like this: 80mm on 6x6 will give you vertically the FoV of a ~50mm lens on "full frame", and vertically the FoV of ~35mm on "full frame".
So if you have a "full frame" camera and a 50mm lens, focus it at 0.9m and check what fits on the horizontal (long) side. If you also have a 35mm lens, focus it at 35mm and see what fits on the vertical (short) side.
That will give you a very, very good approximation of what will fit on a 6x6 frame horizontally and vertically, with an 80mm lens on.
In any case, remember that you can crop, you have the resolution for it. And if you want tight crops without the exaggerated perspective of being so close to your subject, you're better off with one of the longer lenses.
For instance a 150mm lens will give you a bit tighter crop while standing ~1.5m away instead of 0.9m. Or alternatively the 120mm macro can definitely fill the whole frame with the head only (minimum focus is something like 0.8m or so but it's 50% longer as a focal than the 80mm lens).
Honestly though, you'll be fine with the 80mm. And don't be afraid to crop occasionally if the shot requires it. With the larger negative you can afford it.
