2. Pick camera of your choice
3. Select high iso
4. Import into editing software with outdated sharpening algorithm (older version of lightroom, or rawtherapee)
5. Crank up to eleven
6. Crop over 400%
7. ???
8. Profit

"Worms" are just over sharpened noise. Algorithm working too strong, creating edge where is none. It is that simple. You can do it on any camera you want.

There is nothing about sensor that causes it. It is 100% post processing issue.
