Is there proof of this?

The original photographer claimed no editing other cropping the image and using Velvia film gave it certain saturation in colours. Im not a photographer but just interested

It has to be edited. Or have a profile applied. Same difference. Velvia scans don't look like that. You might edit it to give the same impression/feeling you get on a light table.

I spent many years using 6x7 film, and years as a lab tech processing slide film. Scans of Velvia don’t come out like that, polariser or not. Maybe Fortia SP the few times we got it.

No. I worked as a designer for a packaged food company in Petaluma. There is a vineyard on that hill now, though.
