Hard to explain. Subjects are interesting, but I don't thing that pictures of them are captivating. I'd be interested in seeing more work done on them. Different angles, exposure, different light, different time of day.

Something I'd thought of was trying out light painting on them, for the moment that's impossible given the damn covid curfew in France. So unfortunately that'll have to be way down the line.

I'd like to see more variety in these, with the goal of presenting them closer to your vision and what you like about these. You've centered all the knockers, and the doors are roughly on the one-third line. Fine enough for practicing, but it doesn't show or highlight exactly what's interesting about them; they're just there in the frame. You're capturing *a* photo of your subject, but you're not looking for *the best* photo of your subject. Keep shooting

I think it is interesting when you have a lot of them with similar framing. Its a bit like collecting poststamps or coins or whatever. Of course it will also be just a limited form of documentation.
