I mean it has that "HDR" overcooked look that's so popular in 500px and similar sites. It looks almost like a 3D render. Those punchy greens, the way you can see everything even in the shadows, etc.

The only thing I can really do about greens is desaturate them.
As for the shadows, this was a long exposure, so the shadows were pretty visible in the raw anyway. I didn't excessively pull them.

I don't know why that happens easier the smaller the sensor is. On aps-c that look doesn't happen as easily, same on full frame and even less so on MF.

I think part of it may have to do with the profile used. You could maybe shift the hue a bit.
But I wouldn't touch it, as I said it has sort of an overcooked look but it gives it a heightened reality appeal.

for me nothing beats vintage pen f lenses on mft. They are expensive though and I would rather buy mft native lenses

Got a vintage 100-300mm Tokina f/5.6 for Olympus OM cameras. Is it worth it to get an adapter for this so I can have a 300-600mm equivalent for my mft? Is it also possible to have a 2x teleconverter? Hoping to have a 600-1200mm f/11 lens

M-Mount lenses are the best looking to adapt.
Panasonic officially make M-Mount and R-Mount adapters, but they're probably heavily overpriced as hell, much like the FT-MFT and OM-MFT adapters Olympus make.

3rd party adapters are cheap and do the job well. The short flange distance of M-Mount too also makes the lens look rather normal on mirrorless.

I don't think there are many other anons with a Pen-F, Contax T2, Yashica FX-3 and a Leica CL.

Idk much about US prices. I live in Europe, and... If I were you I'd probably either settle for either Mk. III versions of the E-M5 or E-M10. They mightn't look the same, but I think the OM styling is cool anyway.
Plus, I'm thinking of getting an E-M5 Mk III sometime later in the year or next year, just for the PDAF, since I want to do more telephoto stuff.

Anyway, pic rel is a stupid setup, but looks neat.

Take some video in full manual mode and set aperture to the smallest max (like F5.6 for the aforementioned lens) and see if it changes if you zoom in and out?
