Send a handful of pogs as a gesture of "support" for burger wars now and then, to shine their boots? Like, I went to
https://www1.defence.gov.au/operations to take a look at what they do, and also got to see the photos those correspondents take. It's just portraits of politicians sucking each other off, sad looking lardasses in support roles, wamen with guns and all other sorts of saps who were never shot at. If this is your definition of conflict photography then sure, go ahead, keep advertising that.
Burger military is the only one that's worth applying as a combat photographer at, because they actually do stuff. Otherwise one can get a job at a large news agency and be embedded with a unit during an operation. Or go independent and use that silver tongue to get around and take photos, but even if one looks and speaks the part there's nothing but word of honor and a certain amount of luck keeping them alive. Just look at the list of journalists murdered during the Donbas war, or watch the leaked "collateral murder" video where a burgercopter smokes Reuters togs mistaking their tele lenses for rpgs. Either way, hilarious to see an Aussie suggesting joining the army for tog business.
