How do I get a photography job?

Incel neckbeard here with a little experience shooting. Been featured in a couple online magazines, nothing major. Don't have a website. Been applying for photography jobs during covid but no luck. What should I do?

What you're not thinking right. If anything advertising campaigns are even more heightened and they're looking for cutting even more corners with randoms producing good content. Online advertising and photo work is more prevalent than before. The only thing slowing down is big production work that involves dozens of people in some bloated staff studio.

Holy fuck you're a dumbass.

Your best bet is to setup a small product photography area in your home (or parents home I'd wager) and start offering packages for local businesses; you'll be earning less than minimum wage for at least a year, but stick at it and you might be able to start commanding better prices from bigger companies once you're well established.

Uh, are we all missing the obvious? Don't look for a job you fucking mongoloid, create your own. Start a website, advertise, get your name out there. This isn't hard stuff. The only limitation is if you're a shit photographer. Yuppies shell out big money for quality photography, yes, even in 2021.

Technically, with some talent, perseverance, business smarts and connections, you can make it as a photographer. But it's very unlikely you'll actually make a decent living.

Do yourself a favor and get a real job to fund your photography passion, which you could also then use to make some side cash.
