studio lighting with film camera

NOOB question.
i literally cant find any answer online, but can you attach modern studio lighting to sync with a film camera? I have an Olympus OM-1n.

You probably need some cable and/or adapter, ask a nerd at a photo store.

Yes, through the PC socket near the lens mount, or through the hot shoe with an adapter.

keep in mind it has a flash sync speed of 1/60 so it's not really ideal for studio shooting but is doable

1/60 is fine for studio shooting. The effective speed is whatever the flash duration is when there is a lack of other lighting.
