>>3836292> Nah, I like sticking my shoe in the corner of shots sometimes to balance things a certain way;Yeah, I can definitely see the appeal to that.
> not dissimilar to leaving the sliver of car window or mirror in some shots. Not a fan of that, though. I think I get why you do it, but every time I see that I don't think "I'm doing this deliberately to evoke a sense of movement in this photoset, like I'm bringing the viewer with me from place to place on a journey of exploration." I just think "I couldn't be assed to park my car and try to get a proper composition, so I just shot this through my windshield."
> Happy to explain any photos that anyone directly asks about, of courseWhy have all three of
>>3835715,
>>3835716, and
>>3835717 ? I feel like any one of them would be a good addition to the overall feel of the series, but having all three just seems like you couldn't decide which one you liked the most. Especially having both the Witch Creek Baptist Church and the sign for the Witch Creek Baptist Church. The sign doesn't add anything to the narrative--it's just the sign for the church you looked at two photos earlier.
I picked the fence sign in my subset because the church itself seemed just a little too on-the-nose (and I feel like I picked out a shot of the church in a previous subset I put together for a previous thread of yours, but I'm too lazy to check to make sure).
I'm also curious about
>>3835729. Seems a pretty unremarkable utility pole for the subject of a photo. I don't see anything particularly interesting in the shot when I look at it from an abstract graphic design standpoint, either. Going through the shots, this was the first one I got to where I had no idea what you were going for.
(I've got more questions/comments, too, but, uh... I want to make sure that you're going to answer in good faith instead of calling me a visually illiterate moron who doesn't understand modern photography before I put more effort into asking about them)
