>>3837456>crackThey have encrypted everything now, which version are you using?
In case anyone is interested:
>AffinityUse it for everything that is related to editing and it does it really well. I actually paid for the software and it's really good. Can also develop RAW, but it has no catalog function and is relatively slow.
>Lightroom classicVery good and intuitive controls, you save a lot of time using it and the results are very good.
>PhotolabI bought two Photolab versions because I used MFT at the time and the denoise is absolutely the best you can get. I'm not going to buy PL4 though, because the HSL contrlos are fucked up and they try to shill me their NIK collection all the time. There's is also some fuckery going on with the sharpening, and everything that relates to colors. I always could get good results if I edited colors in Affinity, so overall it's not a bad program, but it's only really good at denoising and retrieving details.
>Darktable I have just used in the last three days and I struggle to get the same results as with Lightroom or Photolab, which mainly has to do with understanding how the modules work. Also the quality I get out of it right now is not comparable with LR or PL, but the tutorials I watch look really promising and it's quite fast for batch processing. Windows performance is okay, Linux performance could be better.
>GIMPIf anyone mentions this. Just don't.
>Capture 1I don't get the program, and it renders differently from what I see in the preview, so that's not good.
I used a 'special' version of Lightroom, but had a scare with a possible Trojan a few weeks ago, so I'm actually thinking of cucking to adobe if darktable doesn't work out. I really want it to work out, though. For anyone first starting to edit raws I'd recommend buying Affinity, it has everything you need.
