Everything is straight from the scanner. I use an old mamiya 645 with some agfacolor 50 that was frozen so basically even though its old its not expired. I was lucky to hit the jackpot when a doctor that doesn't use his film anymore gave me bags of it from his freezer.

Yeah it's a pretty good film. I think it's a bit overpriced right now, but getting one roll shouldn't be too hard. It gives me a similar vibe to when I shoot superia, but a bit more warm on a lot of the afternoon tones. It does show some cooler colors better though in the sky and on blues.

On some of the inner-parts of the island, people owned a lot of little ranches and such. Walking around in the mountains was interesting because you'd just see cows walking around on top of cliffs.

Lol. I guess a palm tree shot is pretty generic. Maybe I can figure out a way to put a twist on a palm tree shot to make it distinct.

Thanks for the complement lol. I can't do editing by myself outside of lighting because I am extremely colorblind, so the few photos I have that are edited someone I trust helps me out with. It's very rare I will edit a photo though because most of the time, they come out pretty well from the type of films and scanner I use.

OP here to share a few more pics for you guys. Here's one from a long time ago that I took middle school era. A lot of the site where I took it has changed since then, but it's a nice warm summer feel. I could've done better, but I think it's alright for that age with a broken slr.

Here's one I took during the summer of 2019. I wish I took a picture of the other side of the car to keep the exposure even. The owner was camping in the car and they yelled at me at the time when I was taking the picture lol. They thought I was taking a picture of their license plate, but I explained what I did and they were cool with it.

This one is relatively recent. I was playing with a soft focus lens that I found. It was pretty cool, but the problem with it is that it is very situational and you can't shoot too much with it unless you set up the scene a little bit. This one was done on kodak portra I believe.

I took this one before a boat trip with friends. I don't own a boat, but during that point in time, there was a lot of chop in the water because of an approaching hurricane. We went behind one of the sandbars off the coast and I surfed for a bit on it off the shoreline. At the time the beaches were closed due to covid which was annoying, but it wasn't bad enough that I worried about hanging out with my friends. Now I worry a lot more because I have people I am around that can get sick and possibly die.

This is during the same point in time. I got layed off work due to covid, but I figured out how to get back on my feet pretty quick. I hung out with a weirdo that kept telling me that the girls on the beach were whores because they wore bikinis. I thought he'd be cool when I met him, but he turned out to be an asshole and he was scared of getting in the water too long because of algae so I stopped hanging out with him pretty quick. I took this snap while pretty much ignoring him when he was beside me.
