Then there's some crazy and weird stuff from the film days that can be had for cheap:
>Hoya Pulsator>Hoya AndromedaAnd a funky oddity are the variable colour polarisers. Check Cokin's Varicolor Red-Blue (the most dramatic), they also come in Blue-Yellow.
Mind you they can be actually really useful with WB adjustment in post (and not replicable by editing), but they can get really crazy when turned around the "neutral" point, straight out of camera too.
