Had to inform him two were probably frauds, and had to pass this information on to INTERPOL as the originals were probably taken by the Nazis and ended up in Russian hands and were part of the Hermitage collection at one point and now are most likely in the hands of an Oligarch who got them after the fall of the USSR.The fraud was VERY expert, using period canvas and paints but the film shows the old painting underneath.
The information I passed on made it possible to find the modified canvases from an art sale years ago that they used as the source of a period canvas to fool radiocarbon dating and a few other techniques I will not further identify for fear of tipping off people who do this.
