>>3849017Thanks for the info. Kind of surprised you prefer the old mini having the option to use the Air 2, the dynamic range alone seemed worth it to me, for dramatic sunset shots. If the reviews on youtube are to be believed, it's quite ahead of the Mini 2's (or even Pro 2 apparently). Well, hopefully it's possible to do bracketing on the Mini 2.
Been leaning towards Mini 2 these past few days, and since the fly more combo is noticeably more expensive (costs as much as a brand new Air 2 w/o one), I figured I'd rather try my luck by getting the basic version and then separately buying one spare battery, a rigid case for the drone alone, and spare props (comes out as ~$75, as opposed to $130 extra the fly more combo would've cost here, weird local prices)
Extra things I've noted down for purchasing: a compact card reader to upload stuff to phone too, a 64gb sandisk card, a prop guard (gotta be handy for flying in tight spaces, right? mini2 combo doesn't come with one unlike mini 1 oddly), a powerbank, and a set of filters.
Filters. Frankly, they kind of look overpriced as hell, considering the diameter of the lens. Will have to be on the lookout for good deals. I reckon nd4, 8 & 16, as well as one cpl and maybe cpl+nd8 or something. Have hardly used my NDs for DSLR photography, but since these things record video things are different.
Regarding Air 2 again, the one big issue with the thing now is that it's over 500g, so a couple of years from now it will be considered a chonk in the EU, falling into the A3 category. No closer than 150 meters to people, damn. I'm fairly sure dji will soon release a <500g version because of that and by 2023 one will just be able to buy that and not worry about the restrictions.
